Along with NASA’s removal of “first woman, person of color” language from Artemis websites, the space agency has also removed its celebrated online graphic novel from its website, showcasing the story of two young women training to become NASA astronauts.

Luckily, it’s still available on the internet. The Iceland Space Agency has granted the characters “permanent visas,” so Callie Rodriguez, Meshaya Billy, and others can continue their training and analog missions in the country. The agency is also translating the comics into Icelandic.

Iceland and fifty-two other nations have signed the Artemis Accords, a series of agreements between the United States and partner nations to peacefully return humans to the moon by 2027.
